What’s it all about!
Does trying to get a fitness schedule worked into your busy routine seem like lunacy, and about as likely as you flying to the moon.
To begin with you've hardly ever done that sort of thing before or even been interested in sport never mind actually taking part. And even deliberately avoided mixing with the "fitness set".
To put it another way, you're just not interested.
You find people who go on about the latest diet or fitness fad a complete bore, and you’ve secretly laughed at those people who suddenly adopt the latest craze with a marked enthusiasm, only to quietly drop it again after a few weeks. And considering the amount of discomfort and pain that they went through, however temporarily, without having anything to show for it in terms of fitness or weight loss, makes you feel more than justified in your determined inertia.
You certainly have no intention of trying any of these ridiculous gymnastics, or the endless grind of the swimming pool, not just because you don't want to, but because you don't have the time. It's hard enough as it is trying to balance the competing forces of career, family and domestic life, and frankly that alone is all the stress and exercise that you need.
And yet.........
Having said all that, you have now come to the conclusion that actually being fit is a good idea, and for the good of your health and future, you do really need to address the issue of taking exercise, but the whole process does seem rather daunting and you don't really know how to get started.
So we've tried to make it as easy as 1, 2, 3:
· Stage 1 – Where are you Now?
· Stage 2 – Focus on the Benefits
· Stage 3 - Making exercise part of your Routine
